Welcome in.

Your first days with WaterLand.

A parent in a sun hat on a dry beach wearing a navy WaterLand carrier, steadying it with both hands

Step 1

Try it on at home.

Trying it on at home doesn’t count as use.

  • Adjust it while it’s empty

  • Put it on, then lift your baby in

  • Do the kiss test

  • Keep first sessions short

Step 2

Your first water day.

Stay within arm’s reach of every child.

  1. Before you go in, check the fit: face in view, chin off chest, close enough to kiss.
  2. Get in by steps or a gentle slope, holding a rail.
  3. Stand with both feet on the bottom, in calm water no deeper than your waist.
  4. Keep your baby’s face well clear of the water.
  5. Get out the same way, holding the rail.
  6. Keep first sessions short: about 15 minutes.

WaterLand is a carrier, not a flotation device.

Step out

  • Get out of the water together if your baby falls asleep, or if a wave or drop-off moves you.

Step 3

Safety notices.

So we can reach you with a safety alert or recall. That is all we use your details for.
